Trouble installing HP 1350xi on Win XP

I can't get the HP 1350xi to install without problems on a Win XP sp2 custom computer. It gets to the end where you plug the printer up and tries finishing the installation, then pops up an "access denied" error. I have tried a different usb cable, tried installing it through Add New Hardware and even downloading the newest driver from HP. All with the same results. Anyone got any ideas?

Are you installing it from an administrative account?

Thanks glc, I don't know how I missed finding that. You're the man!
