I was just wondering about watercooling. Will it travel in a frag box or a small tower lan box? One other question, has anyone put one on a x850 radeon? Is it even reasonable. What is a reliable water cooling set up? Would one of those large copper cpu coolers work better than a water cooling cooler? Is water cooling only good, because its quiet, because my pc has 5 fans without a controler so it screems like a mother. Doesn't really bother me. Is water cooling right for me I plan to overclock?

DriftWolf, here is a url to some for sale: http://www.frozencpu.com/index.html
You might glean some info there, the looks and set up etc of some systems. The biggest drawback to watercooling of course, is leaks. A big no no for computer electronics. Have looked at the systems myself, looking for better cooling for the cpu not my graphics cards and looking at the system, seems to me that the temp of the room would be the deciding factor in how well the really cool. Haven't seen enough positive things to convince me to switch from fans. Now, the really nice cooling is to go super cool w/artic cooling, involves compressor and freon and all. Now that will take the temp. down for sure, but just a tad to expensive for me . The systems I have looked at are around 1000 dollars. Hope this helps............................Sterling

I have been to forzen cpu. It's a good site. What I really want to know, is if it travels. Could one install water cooling on a gaming rig that you take to a weekly lan party?

Well, if the gaming rig is smaller than a full tower, then would imagine you would be limited, as would all the tubing ect fit inside. In other words, how much extra space is available in a gaming rig?
I don't know as never built one, but do know they are smaller, just for portablity reasons. ................................Sterling

Well, I took the plunge and ordered a water cooling system. So will see what happens. Not to worried about leakage, cuz used to be a appliance serviceman so used to working with leaking things and pretty sure I can make sure nothing leaks. If all this is gonna be worth it, hmmmm, depends on how well it cools off my cpu.
As for taking to a lan party, would think it would be a tad heavy to carry around. But, as yet do not have any experience in that area. Another thing about leaks, would suggest that if you opt for a system, you hook everything up and run it with out attaching to the cpu to make sure it does not leak. Like maybe for 12 hrs or maybe a day. Then if everything is ok, hookup to the cpu and go for it. Good luck.......................................Sterling
