Epox Bluetooth mouse power saving problem

I have a brand new Epox bluetooth mouse (BT-MS02B), which is otherwise fine, but its power saving just sucks - ie the mouse turns itself off and takes a frustrating couple of seconds to wake up when I need it again.

The Epox support guy said that there's supposed to be a tool for windows (xp) which allows the user to control the power saving by keeping the signal active when computer is on.

Anybody know of this? Or has any other solutions (other than buyin the Bluetake mouse which has a proper power switch). My google searches turned out null.
