Waxing a case

I want to wax my powmax demon case, i was thinking of using rubbing compound, but i dont know will it be ok, or will it ruin my case. also i was asking for tips on how to apply and how much time should i leave it to dry?

I have waxed mine..it was painted with enamel and a clearcoat, and I used regular car wax.

I have never used rubbing compound on it though

Just use good car wax that doesn't have a cleaner in it.

Rubbing compound will take the shine away (it's used to remove heavy oxidation so it has fine particles in it that will scratch good paint).
