Fan silencing
I was planning to add a few extra fans to my computer, but the sound of them going just drives me crazy. What ways are there to reduce noise due to noisy fans?

Get rubber rings to put on the screws of your fans to reduce vibration and noise. Get larger fans (spin at a lower rpm and move the same amount of air). And get a fan controller.

..or 7v them.
if they are too loud then you are buying fans which spin too fast. there is only so much that adding more airflow can do, theres little point doing it to the extreme. |
