Keyboard Question

I'm looking for a keyboard that has a UBS port on it, in other words a keyboard that I can plug my digital camera, photo printer, etc...into.

What is the proper term for this type of keyboard and can anyone suggest a good one.

I'm working on a USB problem and I need to see if this will solve it.

Thanks.

It's a USB keyboard with integrated hub.

I own the Cherry G83-6504 and I am very happy with it. It has the standard design, no multimedia keys and stuff like that, and it has 4 USB ports.
Before the G83-6504 I had the Cherry G81-3504. It was good, too, and it also has 4 USB ports in it.

A friend of mine has the Cherry G83-13500. It has the fancy multimedia key stuff, and 2 USB ports.

Just curious: What problem do you have ?

That may not be the answer to your problem - without a self powered hub, you are limited to 500ma current draw per onboard port. Instead of using a keyboard as a hub, get a true USB hub and plug it into a working port, then you can plug your devices into it. Here's an example:

Just make sure the hub you get comes with an AC power adapter.

EDIT - after reading your other thread, we need to know what version of Windows you have to help you troubleshoot the core issue. There is one Microsoft article about this exact error -

Red face

Sorry, glc, I didn't mean to confuse things. I've been frustrated by this problem all weekend. I got many good ideas by searching the past posts related to USB problems and I will try those when I get home tonight. I wanted to also try the keyboard with the integrated hub and wanted to buy one on the way home. Maybe I will try other ideas first.

Thanks.
