Hey all
I just bought a JET 4 CPU heatsink from cooler master. I have an Intel 2.8 cpu. On the heatsink case it reads "INTEL P4 3.6 GHz and higher" would this matter? I havent even tried to install it and was just wondering if it would aculy perform on my pc? -Thx agen

As long as it's made for the socket type your P4 is, it should work fine.
Is your 2.8GHz P4 a Socket 478 or a Socket 775? I think I may have read somewhere that that particular heatsink is pretty noisy but doesn't seem to cool that well. Cricket

it will perform. But the best air cooler AFAIK has to be the zalman copper, with fan. Where the copper fins protude out to the fan, making the fan placed in the middle. Any copper heatsink will be good enough. With my current setup, the tornado is doing a good job at 50C
