I guess I just like lyfe to be simple enough for me to understand it. Same goes with my confusser...real clean and basic. Took out everything I didn't really see a need to keep. What I kept, I tried to hide as best I could. If it had wires coming out of it, I kinda hide them too. Here's what's left:
Flower 201-b case Abit IC7g-max 2 P4/3.2 (heavy o/c'd) 2xw/d Raptor 74GB Hard Drives 2x1gig ram (o/c'd) Ati 9800pro/256 (o/c'd of course) XP90 cooler for the cpu some other stuff. Just enough left for me to have a little fun with. Still got a long way to go with it, though. What do you think? tnv |

My compliments, tnv, on one of the cleanest case interiors I've seen. Very well done! Nice work area too.

Wow, very nice tnv!
Flashing lights, fans and cathodes are neat and all, but it's GREAT to see someone who really takes the time to keep it clean and organized in their case. A very nice rig indeed... and a cool cup holder on your desk too!

rock on....in regular mid-tower cases (i think thats what you have, i have osmehting similar) there are certain things that just kill the amount of space inside the case....obviously removing the HDD racks in there really opened it up. i have the same problem, wtih a pretty long graphics card, and very stiff round IDE cables so its a pain trying to fit my HDDs the way i want with cables and everything. im seriously impressed with your case though....there are like NO wires lol.
Did you put the windows in/paint it yourself? i really like the black color with the black interior/blue fan lights. the windows are nuts too...to me it just looks really futuristic or something the way you can see right through with windows on both sides. i have all my wires hidden under my mobo tray so a window on that side wouldn make things a bit ugly lol. great job!

tnv, I applaud you... you've done a brilliant job with the interior of that case. Now you've just got to sort the cables at the back

First off, good job tnv. Now, I have a project for someone that has a nice bundle of time on their hands. I would like to take a regular CRT monitor, then take out the innards, stick a computer in there, and then put and LCD in the front! Perhaps you could put in a side window in the monitor and some lights...It'd be like the windows equivalent of the iMac monitor/computer all-in-one!
![]() EDIT: *sniff* Already been done. Don't know if they stuck an LCD in there, but the main part of my idea has already been used... Last edited by KSpark; 08-30-2005 at 01:00 AM. |

Looks good, itechzone. I like the blue lights. However, I can't get pics 3 or 4 to work...

That looks pretty sweet... I try to get a few pics of my case tonight when its dark.
What tools did you use to cut the hole in the top? I am thinking of doing this also...maybe the next time I take everything out to clean and get rid of dust.

Aight I will probably try that next time I clean.
Here are some photos of mine: IS IT JUST ME OR DO LED LIGHTS MAKE THINGS REALLY BLURRY????? Maybe its just the upload quality of the webpage.... http://groups.msn.com/ryan124712/shoebox.msnw Page 1 http://groups.msn.com/ryan124712/shoebox.msnw?Page=2 Page 2 2 LEDs in back, 1 on side, 3 in front.....going to mod and add one to the top or build an entirely new case, I dont know yet... Im actually in the process of trying to turn a large metal box (like 2ft x 2ft x 2ft ) into a computer case, i will try to get another case to take apart and use the mobo rack and the drive bays and psu rails and then cut a bunch of fan slots and see through panels and then use two psus one for my rig and one for all the fans.. I think it should turn out really nice, I plan to use a dremel to cut the slots and then sand and paint it a funky chrome and purple colour.

My next case?
Seems like a lot of people like to put their comps. in something that reflects their lyfestyle or is work related. Well, I'm an assist. mortician...so I have a few interesting ideas as to where I would like to mount my next computer. Hmmm....tnv
No, you're wrong...actually I was thinking of a large urn. tnv |
