Wow...that's a nice case. I'm Japanese and would love to have a case like that for one of my computers.

That is one sweet case indeed!! Gives me inspiration! Don't know if I have that kind of talent, though...

It is a good idea to try and clean up your cables, it looks nicer and also allows for better air flow and less turbulence. Cleaning your wires can also reduce noise.

Wow, those are difficult to see, but from what I can tell, that looks like a pretty nice case you got there.

The case inside is not that clean yet i need more time but as long as i have space to move around in there. When im finally done i'll put the new pictures. Also notice my speacial way of not using my cpu fan...LOL. So what do you think. Is there anything i can do to hide some wires.

I love the blue lights on your case. :P but its just me, because the case I got doesnt have windows haha :P It truly is a waste because I have the motherboard with LED lights red, and blue fans... and zzalman processor fan. =/ sigh.

o well. should have went with the external window, but the thermaltake with 5 case fans for 32 dollars was unresistable.

Just curious, what case is that?

Jackal1887, please post in your own thread. This thread is not for troubleshooting, it's for posting pictures of case mods.

Cool My Case

Its not much, its still a work in progress. The one thing I have learned though is Acrylic cases are bad when you have kids! Fingers are everywhere, plus you have to clean in it a lot because of the dust. Maybe someone has some ideas for reducing the amounts of dust.

Looks nice. However, I think your wiring could be a little neater. (bonus points for matching rounded IDE cables though )

Pentium 1?

I wanted something "old school". Well i really just wanted something that would surprise people at lan parties. I took an old AT&T Pentium 1 n gutted it. Saw a Mini ATX board would just barely fit. Had to modify the rear of it, "jig saw special" The only CD-Rom drive that would fit was a Sony. But it was pretty nice. Chaintech Mobo, AMD Athlon XP 3200+, 1 Gig Corsair value Select, and a Radeon 9700 Pro. It was fun, but i've learned that a real case, keeps things a little cooler .

Thumbs up

JMilliman: Very nice case! The red lights at the bottom are a nice touch. I am getting a clear acrylic case myself. I am curious how difficult it is to remove the side.

Modified Kingwin

Hey guys finally got some photos uploaded of my new case.

http://img505.imageshack.us/img505/5646/dsc001016nl.jpg
http://img382.imageshack.us/img382/4355/dsc001021be.jpg

http://img458.imageshack.us/img458/378/dsc001093an.jpg
http://img468.imageshack.us/img468/4100/dsc001143ai.jpg

I added the window fan, its an anodized sunbeam with red leds, added led lightstick, red ide cables, painted cover on heatsink to red, from blue. Painted front of DVD pane, and 3.5" floppy black. Added extra exhaust fans on top Bay slot. Modified the front audio panel so it would reach the mobo plug in. Definitely dig the external SATA connection. Good Case for $62, all aluminum front door, and the case is sturdy.

Lightbulb Case Mod Idea

This morning an awesome case mod idea popped into my head. However, I don't have the time, equipment, or money to get it done. So, I thought that I'd post it and maybe someone else would like it and try it. I'd also like some comments on the idea. First off, you will probably need a dremel (which I don't have). The idea is to buy a window kit and do the following:
1. Gather various circular items of different sizes.
2. Use a sharpie (or some kind of marker) and trace circles of different sizes all over the side of the metal case door (but within the area that the window kit covers)
3. Remove the side door and cut out the circles (this will probably take a long time).
4. Install the window kit with the glass behind the circle cutouts so there are "bubbles" that you can see through on the side of your case.
5. Install some lighting and the effect will be even better.

Post a comment and share your opinion. Do you think that this is possible? Has it been done before? Will you or anyone you know try it?
