I reperforated the front fan holes (took forever). They were too restrictive... I put the filter in for the side fan, and thats about it...I didnt do much.

It's kind of like what TwoRails did.

Looks pretty sweet. Is it just me, or is your top HDD tilted towards the back of the PC?

I think you're right. Wonder if that's the case, or the picture angle.

Is it just that the side wall of the cage doesn't fit right?

Nice and clean looking, TJohn. I like the blue, as that's my favorite color.

I have 4 uv lights. 2, 12 inchers, one one the bottom and back along the window and 2, 4 inchers on the top and near the front.

Just an Antec 900 with an extra 120mm side fan and some internal coolers.

Nice standard case though.

If you look close, it has a foot underneath it. My guess is a desk leg. Unless he was about to say "good night" to the computer after that picture was taken...

The Behemoth

Ya, so this is my watercooled coolermaster stacker (earlier model); and right now its still kinda raw looking, but I was doing a test of the internals to make sure it worked with no leaks and everything. Not overclocked, my amd's core temp was measured at 19 deg C ^_^
Front panel (order from top to bottom)

Custom housing for Thermaltake temperature monitor
fan speed controller
empty/empty (access to pump/cables by temporarily removing these)
lg dvd burner
4 SATA hard drive racks
empty/empty

And inside there is
-thermochill pa120.3 (with 3 120mm fans)
-swiftech mcp 650 (the base pump that swiftech resells, idk the name its liang something)
-2 120mm case fans (both exhaust), an 8600gts (soon to be 3870X2 - already ordered, eventually watercooled),
-an older ati card just for an extra dvi output (i run this setup with it http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.p...36#post1324836)
-4GB patriot dominator ddr2 800
-amd +6000 dual core 64bit with (the most awsome block - the swiftech storm *sigh its a shame it wasnt so popular*)
-a msi k9a2 platinum mobo
-thermaltake toughpower 850W

inside:

is that double fan business on the radiator really necessary? its not a car radiator, lol; looks good but i was scared to use dyes in my system cause of the nasty residue i have had to clean out of used parts i purchased. ill bet you cant wait to get that graphics cards a cooler of its own - i know I am - cause it has the only computer controlled fan of my system now

the coolant i am using is feser one, from what i have read there is little to no residue left when the system is drained which is why i chose it.as for the 4 fans some will say a push set-up works better than a pull set-up and the push/pull works best. how much? maybe a degree or two. i was going to add the vid card to the loop but i plan on buying a new card soon. nice set-up Tiki

my ANTEC 900

]i just used an regular old paint to do mine, im looking to go a little farther and do more to it but i cant think of what to do. i want to get an ionic breeze a small one and use the dust collecters in it for the front fans but im not sure how i would rig it to look good.

to ebrewer, I would not recommend an ionic breeze because it might interfere with emi sensitive parts because the 'dust collector' is a series of metal plates with current running through them from what i understand. if you are worried about dust, you could always buy some of that filter mesh junk that is used for fan filters and use that.

Here is an update of my rig, now with some new parts and more watercooled components. Heres whats I added:

- swiftech radiator 120x2 (had it sitting around)
- ek 3870X2 waterblock with spiffy delrin top
- HIS 3870X2 Graphics card XD
- Powercolor 3850 Graphics card XD

I got rid of the old graphics cards I had and had to rework the tubing scheme I had. Also I added what I call a 'drain port' (the odd little piece of plugged tubing sticking out near bottom radiator.

With the new setup, my cpu tidle emp rose all of 2 degrees C, from 19 to 21 - but take into consideration the extraordinary amount of heat being put in by the 3870x2 (which right now is idling at around 33 deg C). All in all i would say the upgrade was a success! FYI the 3850 (single gpu mind you) is idling at around 54 deg C.

Here are pics ^_^

hehe, ya that tubing is masterkleer 1/2" ID; it has a really small bend radius because of the thicker wall that it has. I got it off of McMaster Carr (amazing hardware supply website).

haha, ya idk about the hoisery - gf comes over, hey are those . . . *points* pantyhose on the front of your computer?? - . . . uhhhhh maybe?

in all honesty, filters just become a hassle in my opinion cause if you dont clean them regularly they basically suffocate your parts. invest in a can of compressed air and just use that every once in a while.
