PCI to USB problem
Hi Group,
I was hoping someone could help me with a problem I have with my Gigabyte GA-6BXD motherboard. It has two USB ports built into it and I am running Windows 2000 with SP1. In device manager there is an exclamation mark next to the 'Intel 82371AB/EB PCI to USB Universal Host Controller' entry. In the properties for this device it says that the computer does not contain enough information to configure and use the device and to contact the manufacturer to get a firmware or BIOS update. I have flashed the latest BIOS with no improvement. I have checked the entries in the BIOS and it all looks OK so I have come to a dead end. Anyone suggest anything? Regards, nmargison |
