nice case. Do not know what motherboard you are planning to put inside it, but double check that it is compatible with the standard. 20 - pin ATX power supply that comes with this case. LGA775 motherboards, which have an ATX form factor, require an ATXE power supply, which has 24 pins. This is a new enough problem to be worth mentioning. I mention it because I got stuck with a PSU I couldn't use on my board. Don't laugh.

I have an Abit KV7 board. Will this board work in there?

Most Probably you are okay. but I do not know for sure. Check the boards documentation. Or just count the pins on the boards main power connector. If there are only twenty you are good with that ATX case.

this isn't really a question of if the motherboard will fit in the case. atx mobos and atx cases will fit together. it's the power supply that you have to watch, and only if you are using a newer motherboard. if you have a board with a 24 pin power connecter, you need to have a power supply with a 24 pin connecter, as bdwoolman was saying.
jeffr, you are good to go. your mobo is for athlon xp, and it uses the normal 20 pin connecters. i wasn't sure, however, if the case you linked to actually came with a psu... might want to look into that. |

The Thermaltake case does come with a 420w PurePower PSU which is a very nice PSU. Enjoy! ![]() AK

Yep, that case is sold without a power supply...you'll have to buy one separately. Make sure you get a good one...never skimp on the power supply.
