Cpu keeps heating up and makes program crash

i recently built a computer together and used a amd 64 3200 with the heatsink and fan that it came with. when using this computer normally it stays cool but once i use it on Americas army it heats up and crashes the game. i have a front fan a pci slot type fan and also a rear fan and the cpu fan. if anyone can help it would be great

yep fans are in correct position got front sucking in and back blowing out and a pci pulling are out

This may sound like a silly question, but how close to the video card is the slot fan?

I guess what I'm trying to say, is give your video card some breathing room so to speak.

List your complete system specs by brand and model including the power supply.

Are you sure the system is overheating and it's not a game related bug or conflict?

Try running the computer with the sides off and have a small table fan blowing into the case. If the problem goes away, it's heat related...check the installation of the CPU heatsink.

If the problem doesn't go away, it's not heat related. Go to the game makers web site to see if there are any patches or fixes available.
