Question need a reccommendation for cooling

Havent been around for awhile, but im back.

I posted once with no luck, so here i ask again.

Im running a p4 3.0E ghz HT CPU (478) with 2 80mm fans and the stock cpu sink.

Problem when im kicking butt in farcry or generals, My computer fans start to go fast and make as much noise as a washing machine!!

any cheap and effective (and cool looking) things i can do for my poor comp? Thanks a lot in advance for your help!

What kind of PSU do you have in your system?

Take a look below at this 80mm case fan...

Vantec "Stealth" Double Ball Bearing Case fan
These are supposed to run pretty quiet and they are pretty cheap.

Thermaltake P4 Spark 7+ (Xaser Edition)
Thermaltake always makes a nice heatsink w/fan. This one has adjustable speed controls on it. It runs about $25.00 US.

its a 400w that came with my xblade.

I dissected my case and it seems to be my CPU stock heatsink thats making the most noise.

edit: THat thermaltake can go up to 43 dbA!!

I think that's why he also posted the link to the Vantec "Stealth" Double Ball Bearing Case fan.

Yes the Thermaltake can go up to 43 dba, but it has a fan controller that you can put in a PCI slot in the back of your computer to one the can go in a 5.25" drive bay in the front. This allows you to control the air flow, RPM's and amount of noise that the heatsink makes.
