Question The right plug? Or the white plug?

Hey all. I just got my ASUS Nvidia Gefroce 6800 GT V9999GT/TD/128 RTL and I am pondering somthing. There is a regular monitor connector on it (blue) and another one (white) thats a tad bit bigger. I have an adapter to where I can plug in my blue on and it converts it to the big white one so i can plug that in. Would this increase graphic performance? Would it drain more power? The fact is I really dont have any ideas as to what this is and am looking for more insight. Any and all suggestions would be great.
P.S. I have a 17 inch LCD monitor from gateway. Dont know if that helps or not

I think you're talking about a DVI port (Digital Video). You wouldn't see a change in quality using this port with an adapter, but if your monitor has a DVI input, you would see an improvement if you go from DVI to DVI with the proper cable. You can also use it to go from your PC to a HDTV if you have one.

I actually have two VGA monitors on my system. One uses the VGA port and the other has the adapter from DVI to VGA running another monitor. Pretty cool actually!!

I think im just going to stick with my VGA cable, sence its working perfectly. I installed the latest drivers from Nvidia.com and CS plays like a dream. I dunno why I ever went with ATI. Their 9600 XT is a piece of crap, it died on me after 6 months of play, with contenious freezings and what not, I find Nvidia to be a better card over all. Thx agen PC MECH!
