Plexiglass case question.
I have a antec overture that I am not really happy with. Its loud and has ventilation issues. What I want to do is build my own case out of plexiglass. I was wondering if they can handle heat, how the joints are held together and if theres anything people with plexiglass cases can tell me they don't like about theirs.
Thanks |

http://www.tux.org/~bball/pcmods/ Hal has remarked Plexiglass cases are a pain to put together because of the intricate attention to detail needed to make it look right, i.e. hiding cables etc. He also said they tend to get dirt in areas impossible to reach without disassembly. Plexiglass also scratches pretty easily, over time parts of the case would wind up looking cloudy. |

I find that the easiest way to make a plexiglass case is to take the cover off of an old casethen mod that one to look good open then just put plexiglass over the openings
