Exclamation "sytem zone 2 over-heating"?

Hi I need some help here. I just built a computer recently. It's seems to run very
smoothly most of the time, but every once in a while (like playing Doom3 for instance), my screen starts to flicker and I get a message from Intel stating "System Zone 2 Exceeded Recomended temperature". What the heck is zone 2?
I thinks its my chipset (925x), but I'm not sure. And if so, what chip would it be, the upper chip by the CPU or the lower one by my video card. My case is properly vented with one intake fane in the lower front and 2 rear exaust fans on the back. Can somebody give me some advice on what to do or whats going on inside my machine. Thanks!

Ps. if it matters my computer contains the following. Intel d925xcv mother board w/lga 775 3.2 cpu. 1024 ddr2, ATI x700 pci express video. etc.....

What size case are you using?

Do you have all the cables and cords neatly tucked out of the air flow paths?

Are you using the Intel Active Monitor?

Is the fan on the video card working?

You might want to try running the computer with the side off and have a small fan blowing into the case to see what happens when you play those games. If the problem doesn't occur then something was overheating when the case side was on. But if the same problem comes up again, the problem is with something else.

I had this happen with my Intel 865 PERL. On the 865 the System Zone 2 sensor is between the CPU and the memory slots. Its pretty hard to get good air flow to that area.
As Cricket suggest - make sure your drive cables do not block the flow of air. System zone 2 still runs hot on my system but since I tucked the cables in a bit I don't get any warnings anymore.
