I have just got hold of a brand new hard drive seagate 10g for my old second computer , my question can i just take out the old 4g drive and replace it with the new one and then just put in a xp cd to format and load windows,or is it not that simple.If not can someone point me to a good tutorial

It is that simple, unless the bios is so old it can't recognize a drive larger than 8gb.
