My t-bird 900 is running at 1080mhz,my via hardware monitor tells me the temp is 107F or 42C after plaing quake3 for 15 min.Is that to hot? 135x8.0 vcore 1.75 and seems stable, but im worried about the heat issue

42 degrees Celcius doesn't seem too bad to me, considering that it is overclocked. Especially when overclocking, adequate peripheral and cpu cooling is a must. Make sure you have at least one fan blowing air in the front and one exhausting hot air in the back of your case. Also make sure you have a good heatsink/fan combo on your tbird suited for overclocking. HTH

You're just fine. Mine gets a severe workout with Quake and the others and tops out at 55c. No problemo. You evidently have some good cooling.

it is safe, as you have good temperatures, my t-bird 800mhz stock temps are 46 degrees c. As long as your cpu temp doesn't hit like 60-70 range, things are fine....or if you keep getting BSOD's in windoze..then thats a sign that the cpu can't handle the overclock, but if everything is fine let it be.
