So the drives are fine as long as i have enough ports? So then they dont have to be OEM?

The BIOS access key on most motherboards is Delete. From there you should look for "Hardware Monitor" or PC Health."

After you turn on your computer, start tapping the Del key and you'll enter the CMOS Setup screen. If your motherboard gives you the one good BIOS beep at start up, you can start tapping the Del key after you hear it.

If it's not DEL, it could be F1, F2, or F10. What motherboard do you have?

If you believe it's F2, why did you ask in the first place?

What kind of computer is this? If it's a name brand like a Dell, there are no sensors. This thread is getting SO long I don't have a clue if you have provided us with your specs and I'm not going to take the time to look.

Why is http://www2.newegg.com/Product/Produ...82E16820146890 so much more than this http://www2.newegg.com/Product/Produ...2E16820146299?

The second link is invalid, but the RAM in the first one has very tight (good) timings, so that's why it's more expensive than some other RAM.

The speed in GHz is meaningless by itself
Right on. To paraphrase R. Kelly GHz ain't nothing but a number! |

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145440 The OCZ RAM is theoretically better for overclocking, but if you don't use a 1:1 divider, the ValueSelect should work fine. |
