No Mor Microsoft Keyboard Or Mouse

For yrs all I evey bought were Microsoft peripherals. Finally after having nothing, but problems with my last set I choose to go and buy Ligitech instead.

I just purchased (refurbished) Logitech cordless keyboard and cordless LX 700 mouse. These replace the Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Elite. I had nothing but problesm with this set. There always seemed to be a issue with conection with the keyboard and receiver. Or sometimes most buttons other than regular keys would not respond. This new set is working real well and seems to respond nicely. It is not as bulky as the other set. The one thing I like the most is the mouse. When done you put it in the holder and I do believe it has a built in battery charger.. I haven't tried out all the features of the keyboard but will do in time.

I like Logitech's pointing devices and have used them for many years. On this box I have both a Marble FX trackball and a MX 1000 laser mouse. The keyboard is MS. My wife's machine has MS kybrd and mouse. My spare parts build uses a Logitech kybrd / mouse combo. I have also used KeyTronic's kybrds and liked them.

I voted "other" because I like both. Though right now I have a cheap MS optical mouse that came with my keyboard I will get an MX1000 someday. I like Microsoft keyboards better than Logitech. They're just easier to type on. So basicly it comes down to this: Keyboards = Microsoft : Mice = Logitech.

I've been buying Microsoft, but I have bought Logitech in the Past. The only thing I don't like about Logitect is that they tended to throw in buttons that I didn't press or pressed inavertingly, but that isn't too bad and Logitech is good. I just prefer Micro$illy a little bit better.

I have always used MS, but it seems lately they are not holding up as well. Each of my other machines still use MS, but with problems.. As I upgrade each machine I will most likely continue to go with Logitech... I have noticed that they problems we have are with the wirless sets.

Hey, Stridder. Is that a Microsoft Median KB? I bought a M$oft Median KB and 3 button mouse as a set from a guy off EBay. Haven't been able to find the drivers and software for the Internet key assignments to work. Sorry to step upon the thread....just noticed the similarity to your pic.

Do you mean a Microsoft Multimedia Keyboard/Mouse? That's what I have. I believe the Intellitype Pro software works with all MS keyboards.

My house has a mixture of keyboard/mouse equipment. My main machine uses a MS Multimedia keyboard and a Kensington Optical mouse. I like the feel of the Kensington mouse and the rubberized side grips and top finger rests add some comfort. My wife's using the same keyboard with an older Logitech Mouse Man wireless. My test stand is all MS, just a basic Internet keyboard and a wired optical mouse. My daughter has a wireless keyboard and mouse combo from Fellows. The mouse is too slim for my taste. And our "jukebox" system uses a Rosewill wireless combo. It too has a small mouse. I prefer the larger mice cuz my hand is quite large.

My standard package for customer builds is a Logitech combo that I only find at Newegg. It's a wired keyboard with a wireless mouse and has the receiver for the mouse built in the keyboard. Sells for about $33 including freight. When I have a customer using an old ball mouse, I usually sell them a MS corded optical. I keep 3 or 4 in stock all the time. Buy them for less than $10 and sell them for $13.

I use a Microsoft Office Keyboard, and I just love it... But I use a Logitech Optical mouse as I cant stand Microsoft mice.
