All right, here goes... my first comp

I know you guys get a lot of these, so I apologize ahead of time for any repetition. I've been reading over these boards and looking online for the last week or so, and I think I've finally got what I want for my first self-built system. Any advice would be appreciated, as it's a little scary to invest so much money in something I know little about.

... I plan to use this system primarily for gaming...

Those are the ones I'm pretty sure about, but I am still having a mobo/cpu/ram battle, so here are two options given my budget...
(I'm not asking Intel vs AMD, I just want to know which packet is better for m budget ~$900 for mobo, CPU, and RAM)

Processor

Motherboard

(Does the fact that it says NVidia in the name mean anything?)

RAM
OCZ 2 GB DDR400

or the Pentium route...

Processor
Intel Pentium IV 640 3.2 GHz Prescott Socket 775 2MB Cache

Motherboard

RAM

Thanks a lot for any help... I know it must be frustrating helping a bunch of newbs all the time, but I gotta start somewhere.
