Overclocking Mobile XP
Hmm, somebody told me that these mobile AMD Athlon XP processors fit into socket A. I'm sure when mention about mobile processors, fans are not always present. (Correct me if I'm wrong!)
So, I can fit this thing into my m/b and overclock into the highest value isn't it? Or is it not safe to do that?

Yes they fit. Not only do you need a fan, you'll need a GOOD heat sink and fan if you plan to overclock. Overclockings isn't just increasing to the "highest value" (not sure what that is), it's a gradual increase of fsb, with tests run after each increase to assure stability. Plus you have to monitor temps to make sure you don't damage the cpu. You may need to increase vcore (cpu voltage) and vdimm (memory voltage) and you'll certainly want to lock the PCI/AGP at 33/66. Might be a good idea for you to check out these sticky threads on "how to oc".
