How do I burn a bootable CD

I have a CD containing an OS. The CD is bootable as is but when I burn a copy of it I can't boot from the copy.

How can I burn a copy of the CD while making the copy bootable as well?

Thanks!

Talking about making illegal copies of Operating Systems is not allowed here. Read the forum rules.
