CD drive doesn't realize it has a different CD in it

When I switch CDs the cd drive still thinks it has the old cd in it. Like when I double click on it when there is no cd in it or a different one I can still brows the old one.

F5 doesn't help cause it still shows the old cd. The only way to fix this so far is to take out the cd, close it, put in the new one. I have to do that like 5-10 times for it to work right. Total pain when you are installing a 8 cd game

If I restart the computer it shows the correct cd but you can't do that when installing.

I THINK this might have started after I did something to disable autorun. I think it started a little after that though.

Anyone got some bright ideas ?
