AMD X2 4800+ overclocked to 3.1GHz

It wouldn't surprise me if they used cores that were capable of more and downclocked them a little for use in the X2 chips. I guess it depends on the yields AMD is getting on their chips.

Thats pretty nice. I wonder how it would do with watercooling? I'm half thinking about a dual core if they can reach that speed. It will be interesting to see how they price the single core FX-57.
