Question for Mac users

Was asked by a friend of a customer if I could recommend a CD-RW for her IMac and what burning software she could use. Her OS is 9.2. I thought the hardware (the CD-RW) would be the same but I only see Plextor as a Mac compatible burner at Newegg. However, all the specs list Windows os's but no Mac for that burner. The only burning software listed for a Mac is Roxio (gag!) Toast. Ideas?

Toast is the standard in the Mac world.

Thanx, g. No internals with just CD-RW capability, eh? Those external DVD burners look like they come with the software which is cool.
