usb key security
is there any software that i can download that can enable my usb key to lock my computer. i tried to google but didn't find anything good. thanks

Do you want to lock the whole computer or just the usb device?

the whole computer, just to clarify i want to use my USB Flash Drive as a key to lock my system

Just adding a password to your user profile and log off or shut down the machine.
Flash drives are prone to malfunction. Would hate to see you not be able to get into your machine "at all" cause you stepped on the the usb drive or left it at a friends house. |

Just set a password and pres the windows key + L when you leave and it will lock the computer. It would be much better as EzyStvy said since the USB sticks can malfuntion and you don't want to have a pain trying to get into the computer if it doesn't work.
