Logitech mouse question
Hi.. I have a oem Logitech optical Wheel mouse. Model number: M/N M-BT58
The question is, is I have seen a similar logitech mouse on a PC and it would (the light) go off after awhile (I guess so as to save the light) I am imagining that I saw this is? Or is that I ahve incorrectly setup? I am using Win2000 pro. The driver I got from Logitech, ( http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/do...id=5278,OSID=3 ) Thks for ya help

yours should do the same if theres no movement, the light goes dull. esiest way to test is just leave it there for a moment, of pick it up , the light should go dull. i dont think it goes out altogether though. its normal though

You may have been seeing a USB mouse on a machine where power management is enabled on the USB port.

GLC, how do I enable it on my PC. I have already the power management enabled on the display props>screen saver>advanced... but I take it that I am needing to go somewhere else to accomplish this? thks for your continuing assistance.. |

I believe its in the properties of the USB root hubs or the controllers in device manager somewhere. You do NOT want power management enabled on those.
