CD writer cannot be found
Last week my CD writer stopped working. PC couldn't find it. Replaced writer, but getting same results. I went onto the My computer > properties > hardware > device manager. There i can see the drive but it has a yellow exclamation point. Those properties state "Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41)".
Power is fine. Writer lites up, doors open, and it appears to start reading. I even tried an external CD writer and getting same properties response. Any ideas? ___________________________________________________________________ Intel(r) 82801BA Bus Master IDE Controller/ Pentium 4 1.50GHz |
