this RAM with an ASUS A8V deluxe REV 2

Hi, my next upgrade is due. I want to change the Mobo, CPU and RAM and keep the existing hardware in my sig.

I intend to buy an A64 3500 venice OEM 939 to go in a
Asus A8V deluxe Rev2 AGP (coz i have a X800XT PE AGP i want to keep using)
with this RAM:

GeIL 1GB (2x512MB) PC4400 Ultra Platinum CAS3 (GL1G4400DC) (MY-027-GL)
GeIL PC4400 550MHz Dual Channel DDR Ultra Platinum is ready to take the full advantages of Intel’s new chipsets. As for our PC4400 Ultra Platinum which is capable of running at the speed of 550Mhz, it would be by far the fastest DDR memory module available in the market now.

- 184pin, Non-ECC, Un-buffered, high performance DDR memory modules
- Hand Picked GeIL 3.5ns 32x8 Density DDR Chip
- 6 Layers Ultra Low Noises Shielded PCB with Gold 30u" Plating
- Optimized SPD for Intel 875/865 chipset Dual Channel DDR motherboards
- Platinum Copper Heat Spreader
- CAS 3 8-4-4 @ DDR550MHz PC4400
- 2.65v-2.95V
- Retail package with clear acrylic case and instructions
- Lifetime return to manufacture

can anyone see a problem with this build, ie the RAM is wrong or not compatable?

enermax 480 W ATX 2.0 PSU (as sig)
and this CPU cooler:

Gigabyte G-Power Silent Blue Light (Socket A/754/939/478/775) Cooler (GH-PDU21-SC) (HS-005-GI)
From the ground up, G-Power Coolers are designed for efficiently transferring heat away from the CPU. The base of the cooler has a polished nickel electroplating around a solid copper foot allowing for superior contact with the CPU. The quad heat pipes use sintered power wick technology to enable the cooling fluid inside them to flow back to the heat source after condensation - even if it has to travel upwards. This means that the cooler can be mounted in virtually any position to accommodate a range of case designs, making the G-Power Cooler a case modders dream! Typical of all GIGABYTE coolers, the G-Power models use large fans that generate strong air currents through the cooling fins even at low revolutions with near silent operation. Air-flow from the fan effectively cools other components around the CPU, reducing the chance of capacitor failure for gamers and overclockers who push their rigs to the limit.

- Universal 4-in-1 design fits all mainstream platforms
- Omni-directional cooler design with new advanced sintered powder wicks
- Advanced sintered powder wicks structure, enhances heat dissipation
- Quad-Way Airflow Design - Fully compliant with MOSFET thermal functions
- Solid pure copper base with nickel-plating finish
- Quad high-performance heatpipes
- High-density fin placement maximizes heat dissipation area
- Tooless 4-in-1 bracket enables easy installation of G-power series.
- Raised heat pipes avoid interference with neighboring components
- Attractive packaging
- Airflow 32.5~42.5 CFM
- Noise 21.3~24.5 dBA
- Weight: 430g
- Dimension 110 x 110 x 109mm

later on i will get another SATA 120GB maxtor and set up some sort of raid.

actually thinking of adding a raptor 37 GB now they have been around for a while.
do they make that much difference compared to a SATA 7200 drive?
