Red face language wrong with printer

I recently lost my hard drive and had to get a new one installed. I guess I was a little tired when I was installing my printer because somewhere I checked a wrong box. When I hit "print", the printer status shows up in what I think is Swedish. I tried uninstalling the printer and reinstalling it; no change.

Anyone have any ideas for me?

Thanks!

What brand and model printer is this?

I'm not finding any solution at Compaq but they do have the software and drivers available for download in English. Maybe uninstall everything again and try the downloadable software instead of your installation disk and see if that makes any difference.

Super! Glad it worked. Your husband and I wore the same uniform. I was Army too. These names will probably mean something to him: Dong Ha, Hue, Da Nang, Cua Viet, Vung Tau, Cat Lai, Qhuin Nhon (sp), and Saigon. All part of my 2 year "vacation"! Tell your hubby from me, "Welcome home and thanx for your service."
