Media Button on IBM Enhance Keyboard

Afternoon all,

Really hope someone out there can help me with this. Basically I have had to switch my desktop to an IBM T42 laptop. As part of this package I received an enhanced keyboard which contians multiple application buttons including media controls.

Here in lies the problem as typically me being awkward would prefer to use Winamp or ITunes instead of Windows Media Player and I cannot find any information anywhere that even tells me if this is possible.
