Cooling help
Hi
this is my first build and I am kind of lost in the cooling. Here is what i have. I also bought Thermaltake big water cooler http://www.newegg.com/Product/Showim...ystem+-+Retail I have no idea how I am going to set all these up. I don't know how to wire all these fans. how should I wire them? I don't know which fan I should use to draw cool air in and which fan to use to draw the hot air out. Please help me. Thank You |

Case cooling basically works like this...lower front fans are intakes to bring cool air into the case. Upper rear fans are exhaust to remove warm air from the case. That slot fan goes under the video card to help draw warm air of it and blow it out the back.
Power connectors like the one on the slot fan are called "pass-through" connectors and you can use them to connect several fans together in a "daisy-chain". You then connect the fans to one 4 pin power connector from the power supply. I don't know what that pass-through connector between the case fan and the slot fan is for...what is it connected to? I don't know anything about water cooling. Cricket

should I install the radiator so that fan blows air from inside in to the radiator or pull air out from outside in to the radiator and in to the case or air from outside to radiator and fan pulling air in to the case? |
