Missing drives

I was watchng a dvd on my puter, when suddenly my puter froze. I had to reboot to get it working again and when It rebooted, I discovered that all my drives except my a drive and hard drive were not working and weren't even listed on my computer. What happened and how get i get my drives back?

The ribbon cable that connects IDE devices inside your PC may have broken. They aren't the most reliable of cables and its happened to me before, try replacing that (they're very cheap).

What does Disk Manager and Device Manager say about the drives?
