Help please!!!
I just bought a Dell dimension 3000 desktop computer with and LCD monitor 2 days ago. I used it, turned it off but I didn't turn off my monitor it went into standby mode I guess. (where the light on the power button turns yellow) Anyways, when I went to use it again the monitor wouldn't come back from standby mode. I have tried unplugging, restarting, resetting BIOS.... I have another computer and I plugged it's monitor into the Dell and it worked fine. Does anyone have any idea what I could do to fix it or do I need to have the monitor replaced???? Thanks! |

I would say that you need to RMA the monitor.

RMA = return material authorization. If it's a Dell monitor, contact Dell for a replacement, if you bought it online elsewhere, contact the vendor, if you bought it at a local store, take it back.
