c drive size
while installing xp pro i accidentally partitioned the c drive at 3 gb instead of at 30, the size i wanted to have for c drive out of my two 300 gb hardrives was 30gb, is 3gb too small a space, can i make it larger? or do i just now have to put all data into the f and g drives i formated after the install?
thanks |

You would be best off starting over unless you have Partition Magic. 3gb is way too little space for XP, you need at least 10gb to give it breathing room.
Partition Magic (which is not free) can resize partitions without data loss. There are other dynamic partition resizers out there but Partition Magic is the best known. |

i tried starting over, but my oem xp version wont let me reuse the key code so im going to get my the IT guy who works with me to come over and bring a retail version of xp, and ill just partition it too the full size of the disk
