Drive Letters when Cloning - SOLVED
EDIT: Sorry I found this somewhere else
I posted the following in the Windows XP forum, but I thought it might be better solved here Well I had XP installed on a Maxtor harddrive and used Norton Ghost to clone the disc. When I loaded up the OS on the new harddrive, it is still shown as drive D, while the Maxtor drive is shown as C. Is there a way that I can make the new harddrive drive C, and I don't need the OS on the Maxtor drive but I would like to leave it in my computer (I can format it if necessary). Any ideas? Thanks, Graeme Last edited by GraemeM; 07-25-2005 at 09:11 PM. |
