idea about wireless kb/mouse, any thoughts

I have a wireless Logitech keyboard and mouse that dont have power buttons on them so you have to take the batteries our evey time. Now I am wondering if it would be easy/possible to add power buttons on the two devices with either a small slider switch, small rocker, or small push button.

I am thinking it shouldnt be to hard to do but I havnt seen the inside of the wireless kb or mouse. I think the hardest thing would be to find a type of switch that would fit in with the mouse so it doesnt interupt the placing of your hand.

Any particular reason you would like to remove the batteries in the first place? There should be very little power consumed when the pc is turned off. I replace batteries in my keyboard and mice like once every six months or so. Just leave them in and don't sweat it.

Why don't you just get a set of rechargeable batteries and a charger?
