CD RW not recognised in CD Rom

Dear Friends,

I am having a Samsung 52x Max CD-Rom drive installed on a Win XP professional Celeron System. I was able to read all CDR and CD RWs from the same CD Rom drive.
Recently I added Samsung Combo drive. After that addition, I found that CD-RWs are not being red from the CD Rom drive. Normal CDRs and original CDs are being red from CD-Rom. Everytime I need to use the Combo drive to read CD RWs.

Can anybody help me sort out this issue.

Hey srinath

I used to have this problam once.
It happens when then cdrom drive is old, and not compatible
with the new drive.
Try to take the CD-RW that you've burend an use them in another
CD-ROM drive, and see if they work.
My guess is that this is your problem.

I tried reading the CD-RWs on other CD Roms and it is working. My Cd-Rom drive was not very old but about 1 year. Earlier it was working(before I added the Combo drive).

any more guidelines?
