How do I find out the specs on a used motherboard?

I am trying to help a friend upgrade a computer that was built by someone else. I am new to computer building and I need to be able to figure out what memory and video cards would be compatible to add to this. The RAM that is in it already is one stick with a label on it that reads "MY-DK128MP2100" - when the computer is on it says it has 96 MB of RAM. The computer has an AMD Duron 1200 MHz CPU and two Seagate 40 GB ATA hard drives. I thought the motherboard would have a name and model number on it so I could use that information to track down compatible parts, but I didn't see anything. It looks like it has 3 PCI slots but I am not totally familiar with what all the different kind of slots look like. Can anyone help?

well if it boots up shouldnt the display show what it is? like the ASUS mobo usually has the ASUS logo popup when u start it (and when u enter bios)

wouldnt it also show when the comp is going through its prestart up list thing? when like it shows... ummm well before the windows load screen.

They both give you system information. I heard Belarc is a little easier to use.

Belarc gives you a full readout without sub-headings like Everest. Belarc also displays all the Product keys/installation keys for all your software. I think Everest only shows the Product Key for the OS.

I find the Belarc one a no-nonsense, one-click does all, great program.

Always handy to keep a copy of it around.
