I can't even tell what brand the mother board is, a lot of the chips say Intel on them.
I only started building Computers since the Athlon class came out so I am not very familiar with the socket 7 systems. I would appreciate answers to my question. |

Not likely. There are no Intel chipsets that officially support a K6-2. It can be done with certain motherboards, and the processor will be declocked, not running at 500, but we have to know the exact motherboard model.

The computer is a Packard Bell Model 3100 there is a sticker on the motherboard with the follwing serial number: M7910HD081116
I dont know if this means anything or not. The case sucks you cant use regular motherboards in it or I would replace the board too. |

Thanks for your answer. This is a computer owned by a small church and I was just trying to help them out by upgrading it.
