Heatsink and fan stopped spiining

My pc kept freezing or shutting down and on start up it would make loud noises. I opened the case today and saw that the heatsink became very hot and the fan stopped spinning. I know that the fan not spiining is causing that heatsink to get hot...

Is there anything I can do about this?

The heatsink and fan can be replaced at little cost.
Tell us the type of processor and we can link you to where they are for sale.

looks like your heatsink fan has died, causing your PC to overheat, that is why your PC is freezing and rebooting. It is pretty easy to replace a cooling fan. If you posted some specs somebody could probably recommend a good replacement fan for you.
