Use bolts to hold aluminum fans in place?

Basicaly im buying 5 100% aluminum fans for my case this time, my current case has 1 aluminum fan witch came with metal screws.. so i used paper clips to atach it, my friend said i could drill screw holes, but i dont feel like bothering with a drill, ill just mess it up, plus why would they make a fan and give me screws i have to drill holes for myself?

So could I use some 1/8th thick 1.25 long bolts with nuts to hold them in?

and could I find these at my local hardware store? i looked at some bolt sites, but no one seems to make 1/8th thick bolts or nuts..

Or is there an easyer way?

You dont need to the sheet metal screws will still screw in, they might be tough to screw in though. But the nuts and bolts work fine, my 2 side fans are held in like that.

What type of Aluminium fans, Evercool? Built a few computers using Evercool 120mm fans, most of them failed around the 14 month mark, went back to the type I have always used Panaflo, 1/8 screws are available at most hardware stores, you may be able to use the phillip headed metal screws, they have what looks like a drill shape on the end of them, I actually use these on the panaflos as there holes are slightly larger than normal, I prefer screws about 5/8 long, rather than long bolts, those evercools have a elongated horribly shaped holes, I had to use long bolts on this type of fan.
