Maxblast 4 Question - New Drive

Hello!

I am using Maxblast 4 to move data from an older hard drive to a new, larger one. I am choosing the option: "ADD THE DRIVE AS NEW BOOT DEVICE" and it is telling me, before I continue, that the new drive will be set up as the boot device and that all partitions data on the old drive will be migrated to the new one.

It will not delete the old drive, correct? Just want to make sure before I press send!

Thanks,
Brian

it should only be copying from the old drive and not deleting. if you are not presented with an option to format the old drive then you should be safe. However as a precaution important data should always be backed up.
