Question What jumper setting?

Hi,
I had an extra ATA 100 Western Digital 80 GIG hard drive laying around so I ordered a 2.0 USB external enclosure. I was just thinking what should I jumper the drive to, Master, Slave or Cable select? Does it really matter since it is USB?
TIA

Send a message via ICQ to RJ
It's said in the user's manual. Usually it'll be master.

I tried setting the jumper to both master and CS and both worked in my Bytecc external housings. The IDE cable in the housing is a short 80 wire cable so I'm guessing that's why it worked with the CS jumper setting, but I use the master setting when setting up hard drives for the external housings.
