Very quick AMD compatibility question

Hi,

My friend gave me an Abit KV8 Pro Motherboard (K8T800 PRO Chipset) to sell on eBay for him. Today I got a question from a buyer asking if this board is compatible with an AMD Duron 64 3200+. As I know very little about AMD processors, I googled the question but found no definitive answer.

Can anyone here help by giving me an answer to this? Thanks a lot in advance... JTH

No such thing as a AMD Duron 64.

He probly means the Sempron 64, because Sempron's are like the reincarnation of the Duron series. Either he got ripped off, or he's misinformed.

Why isn't the ebay user doing his own research? If you gave the chipset info than that's all you should have to do.

Ok thanks. Even despite my limited AMD knowledge, I did strongly suspect that there was no such thing as a Duron 64.

So, assuming he meant Sempron 64, will that work with this mobo?

Couple different versions of the KV8 mobo, but they all show socket 754 and support for the Sempron 64
