BIOS concern/problem...

Hi there,
I have a hardware problem which I think is resulting from bios problems.
The CD rewriter and sound card aren't working but the computer still boots up (looks at the floppy drive for boot first) and when I try to look at the bios at startup I simply get a box with:

AMI BOIS Flash Utility v1.03
Flash ROM Type ..... HYUNDAI HY29F002T
Load BIOS from Floppy

It's got a Gigabyte GA-7ZMMH motherboard with an AMI bios. Windows 98SE

Any ideas on what's going on and how to fix it?? Anyone?!
Many thanks!

If that's your only computer I would just order a new bios chip for it from these guys : http://www.badflash.com/
At the same time go to the closest electronics store and buy yourself a new cmos battery.
Pull the old ones and replace first the chip and then the battery.
If you have another computer to use and can afford to experiment then just replace the battery, go through the steps for clearing the cmos when you do so, and see what happens.
