Need help finding good Heatsink/Fan

Alright so im running a intel p4 3.0 ghz processor ah prescott core and i am constantly overheating with the stock heatsink/fan. So what do u recommend for a good heatsink/fan.

Also how hard is it to get the pad of goo that came stock with the heatsink?

Are you using stock speeds for that processor? If so, keep using it unlesss you can afford to void the three year warranty. Also, what do you mean by 'overheating'? Is the processor constantly downclocking as a result of excessive heat? Is the system constantly crashing?

alright what i mean by overheating is im setting of my alarms at 67 c

Did you install the heatsink/fan properly? How many case fans do you have?

yes the heatsink and fan are in right and i have 3 case fans (all slots full)

Which way are the fans facing?

The front fan set up as an intake to bring in cool air?

The rear fan set up as a exhaust to remove warm air?

Where is the third fan?

Case Cooling
