Dual-Core

Hi,

I am going to build a gaming computer and I dont know which to choose. The Amd athlon 64 x2 3800+ or the amd athlon 64 4000+. I am not sure about Dual core technology because i want to have the computer I am going to build with the lastest parts and up to date. I like to play games like half-life 2, bf2, and unreal tournament 2007 when it comes out. I also like to talk to ppl on msn, flash mx, word processing, and other applications.

What is the choice? And WHY?

Games aren't coded for dual core yet, so your best preformance would come from the single core 4000+.

He did not say how heavy the games were that he was going to play, but there are some good posts in there, and saves the other guys in the forum some time from rewriting them.
